void.ma accessibility statement

This page describes the accessibility of void.ma (French and English pages): what has been checked, what remains to be fixed and how to report a problem. VOID sells accessibility audits, so we publish the actual state of our own website, issues included.

Compliance status

void.ma is not compliant with RGAA 4.1.2 or WCAG 2.2 Level AA. No full conformance audit has yet been carried out on a representative sample of the site, so the conformance rate is not known.

Method:

automated tests with axe-core 4.11 (WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 rules at Levels A, AA and AAA, plus best practices), in light and dark themes, on desktop (1,366 px) and at 375 px wide;
a full keyboard walk-through from the top of the page, checking that focus stays visible and is not hidden by fixed elements, with the menu open and closed;
a review of the accessibility tree exposed by Chrome (landmarks, headings, link and button names, language);
display at 375 px wide with no horizontal page scrolling.

Environment: Google Chrome on macOS. These checks do not replace an audit: some criteria require human judgement on a wider sample.

Fixes made on 26 September 2026

a "Skip to content" link, the first element reached with the keyboard;
the full-screen menu no longer receives focus when it is closed;
open full-screen menu: the Tab key stays within the header and the menu, and the Escape key closes it and returns focus to the button;
English pages declared as English (page lang attribute);
text contrast in the header, footer and mobile bar raised above 7:1;
at 375 px, focused elements are no longer hidden by the bottom navigation bar;
the animated gradient in page headers stays still when reduced motion is requested;
English pages: the header and footer are no longer shown twice;
article template: in the dark theme, the article body keeps a white background, which restores text contrast;
short video pages: the breadcrumb home link and the subscribe button now have a name, and the "Share" heading level is fixed;
"Banking accessibility in Morocco" page: orientation lock and slideshow removed.

Known issues

Known limitations as of 26 September 2026. Partial list, pending the full audit.

An automated check of pages not yet reworked (home, services list, UX design expertise, short videos) finds text below the enhanced contrast ratio of 7:1, and some below 4.5:1: coloured labels, the WhatsApp share button, grey text on the home page, red links in the dark theme.
Home page: the scrolling logo strip cannot be reached with the keyboard, and a second banner landmark is nested in the content.
Other pages (older publications, industry pages) have not been checked yet: contrast and heading structure may be insufficient there.
